Choices

Proverbs 14:12 (NIV) warns: "There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death." This powerful verse reminds us that our own judgment can be deceptive—what feels exciting, freeing, or harmless in the moment, like experimenting with drugs for fun or pursuing sex outside of God's design for marriage, often seems reasonable or even beneficial at first. Yet these paths promise pleasure or fulfillment while quietly leading to addiction, broken relationships, regret, spiritual separation from God, and ultimately destruction. Making wise, intentional choices grounded in biblical truth and seeking God's guidance protects us from following deceptive roads that end in death, steering us instead toward life, peace, and eternal blessing.
