A Promised Gift

Directed by Marney L. Wooldridge Performed at the Jubilee Theater Lugoff, SC

In bustling Camden, four friends slip into a holiday evening expecting nothing more than laughter and escape. But two of them encounter an unknown homeless man—a moment small enough to dismiss, yet impossible to forget. Soon after, a mysterious Music Man appears—captivating, unsettling—and vanishes as quickly as he came, leaving the night humming with unanswered questions. Into that charged stillness steps Lady Wisdom, carrying an ancient calm and a Gift that feels less like comfort and more like a calling. What began as a simple girls’ night becomes a quiet upheaval. The Gift presses on their hearts, refusing to stay contained, spilling through their community and the shadowed corners of their own souls—guided by the homeless stranger, the Music Man, and the piercing presence of Wisdom herself. By night’s end, something fierce and holy has awakened… and nothing in Camden will be the same.
